Tanvald – Nemofilista (Chronique)

Emerging from the forest depths of the Czech Republic, Tanvald returns with the new album Nemofilista, which will be released on October 10 via Naturmacht Productions. The solo project, true to the essence of Atmospheric Black Metal, offers an introspective dive where icy guitars rise like walls, crossed by distant screams and punctuated with moments of pure melancholy.

The 45-minute album combines the solitude of misty forests, where every gust of wind seems to carry the echoes of forgotten sorrow, with the raw intensity of black metal. It contains everything that makes the strength of the great names of the genre: a contemplative, immersive, and genuinely emotional approach.

Two tracks are already available on the project’s Bandcamp page: Zármutek, which opens the album, and Touha, placed fifth in the tracklist. These songs provide an excellent glimpse into the soundscape: between restrained aggression and twilight beauty, Tanvald explores a fragile balance between despair and light.

Through Nemofilista, Tanvald once again proves the vitality of today’s atmospheric ambient black metal scene. The listening experience feels like a journey through inner landscapes, between solitude, darkness, and silent wonder.

An album crafted for lovers of immersive sonic journeys, not to be missed upon its release.
