With Manifest II, released on June 10, 2025, Nith continues his solo work under the name Mesfetor, delivering another black metal onslaught that is as abrasive as it is possessed. True to the raw and relentless spirit of the genre, the EP doesn’t simply replicate the codes: it enriches them with subtle touches, notably through the use of synths and broader textures that open horizons beyond strict traditional black metal, at times flirting with death and even heavy metal.
The feedback gathered on Bandcamp is unanimous: Manifest II emerges as a gem of French black metal—dark, uncompromising, yet bold enough to venture into new territories without ever losing its hateful and oppressive aura. There is a clear intent here to assert a strong sonic identity, both faithful to the roots and driven by a more personal vision.
As proof of the underground success of this release, at the time of writing there are already only 3 physical copies left on Mesfetor’s official Bandcamp. A rarity in the making, confirming the growing interest in the project.
With this second manifesto, Nith proves he has not yet spoken his last word, and that Mesfetor is a name to closely follow in today’s black metal scene.
